Learn how to brew Ayudra's Blue Tea Mint Tisane for a cool, caffeine-free drink. Steps for hot or iced tea with minty freshness.
Quick answer
Steep one Ayudra Blue Tea Mint Tisane sachet in hot water for 3–5 minutes, then serve hot or pour over ice for a refreshing iced tea.
Why brew blue tea with mint?
Blue tea, often made from butterfly pea flowers, turns a vivid indigo when steeped. The mint in this tisane adds a cool, soothing finish that balances the tea's naturally mild, earthy flavor. It's a caffeine-free choice for any time of day.
How to brew your blue tea mint tisane
- 1. Heat your water: Bring fresh, filtered water to 195–205°F (90–96°C). Avoid boiling, which can make the tea taste flat. If you don't have a thermometer, let the kettle sit for 30 seconds after boiling.
- 2. Steep the sachet: Place one Ayudra Blue Tea Mint Tisane sachet in a cup and pour 8 oz of hot water over it. Steep for 3–5 minutes. Longer steeping deepens the color but can intensify the mint. Do not over-steep beyond 5 minutes or the mint may become slightly bitter.
- 3. Serve hot or chill for iced tea: Remove the sachet and enjoy hot, or pour the steeped tea over a glass filled with ice. For a stronger iced tea, steep with half the water, then top with ice. Add a squeeze of lemon to turn the blue tea purple—a fun visual twist.
