Steeped this for about four minutes and the Assam really comes through — malty and strong without turning bitter. The 20% Darjeeling keeps it from tasting flat, which I didn't expect from a breakfast blend.

I added a splash of milk and the Darjeeling’s floral finish really came through underneath the Assam’s boldness—it’s a proper cuppa that holds its own even after five minutes of steeping. The whole-leaf texture makes the second brew just as satisfying, so one pot easily covers my whole morning.

The Assam gives it that proper malty kick I need in the morning, while the Darjeeling rounds it out so it’s not harsh at all. I’ve been brewing it strong with a splash of milk and it cuts through perfectly, every single cup.
